The Mysore Yoga Scene

Here in Mysore, India, we have an interesting array of world class Yoga teachers and schools. From the Western-populated, advanced Shala of the Jois family ("AYRI") to the more Integral and Alignment-minded yoga of "Yoga-India" (see links below) we have both flowing and static styles...Clearly, we have no shortage of hatha and ashtang... Many of these teachers generally teach just one or two hours per day, leaving people free for the rest of their time .... A number of certifications are available now as well...

As a student of "integral" yoga, in the coming time I will continue to research and try to elaborate on what is offered here... however, there is between 200-300 schools around, with some more prominent than others... including:

-http://www.ayri.org - This is the so called "Main Shala" where Patthabhi Jois resides and his family teaches. I could write a lot about this place. Only come here if you are highly experienced in Ashtanga and dont want much instruction... The shala is packed with yogis and it is the most expensive place around.

-Shri Patanajali Yoga Center, BNS Iyengar - BNS does not have a website right now. He is a direct student of Krishnamacharya (along with Deskichar, Indra Devi, BKS Iyengar and Jois, plus maybe one or two others). This makes him highly respected... He teaches at the Patanjali Shala, where Krishnamacharya taught. He focuses on Pranayama and also teaches the Ashtanga Vinyasa series as taught by the Jois family. I hear its nice that students can "ask him anything" and he has a good sense of humor. Perhaps this says something important: the Indians tend to study with him! (At the "main" shala, it is ALL Westerners in the morning classes working like hell while a few Indian students get semi-private instruction for less money in the afternoon and in a calm environment.) There are reports of Iyengar trying to take advantage of women, BEWARE!!! He offers a 30 hour teacher training centered around philosophy. He also offers Pranayama, Mudra, and Asana classes- each is costing RS 5,000. You have to pay up front before trying him out. So, you cant taste what he offers before committing. However, he will give a refund if your not satisfied in a few days - and money is not a real concern for him (so he says). The teacher training covers Kundalini and many topics. He is 81 years old and been taching for 60 years! Overall, he offers some taste of the light and dark sides of yoga... and is a powerfuly energetic presence with his huge belly and glowing face, humor and stories.

-http://www.sthalam8.com - Young teacher, former student of BNS. Offers teacher training.

-http://www.yoga-india.org - Teaching slow, peaceful Iyengar style yoga. I have only heard good things about this Shala. Its a little on the expensive side for Yoga in India, but the quality of instruction from Bharat is said to be quite good by all his students I have spoken with... 2 month teacher training is offered.

-http://mandala.ashtanga.org - Sha Shadri and his son are the main teachers here. I have heard very good things about this teacher. I have also heard mixed things, people saying that his adjustments are not as gentle as could be ideal. People have to let him knoe theyr limits. His center has a cafe and many other offerings.

Teacher was a diplomat and teaches at local university. Seems pretty okay. Yoga Alliance registered teacher training.

-Food: for Yoga students we have some nice little, inexpensive (100 RS meal) restaurants: Chakra House, Shakti House, Rishi's, Kate's, Santosha, Anu's here in the Gokulam town of Mysore City.
-housing here is about 3,000-8,ooo RS/Month. A scooter or motor bike can be rented for about 1,500 - ~4,000 RS/month. Many classes are in Lakshmipuram where AYRI used to be based.

World Congress

The World Congress on Psychology and Spirituality was a great event here in New Delhi India.

Delegates from 40 countries attended to share research and develop networks. I am glad I attended and happy to have come across so many fine people.

Highlights were the: Future of Education Panel, Spirituality and Youth panel, Conflict Resolution panel and the Tantra panel which explored Kundalini Shakti and some Kashmir Shaivism.

I enjoyed chanting through the chakras and meeting many thoughtful individuals who I look forward to networking with further as we evolve with the Peaceful Revolution and further the integration of Spirit with Psyche.

Mind Control, Character Education and the Path of Freedom

Govern-ment means "control" (govern) of the "mind" (ment, mental).

What is the proper function of government? For the welfare of the people, in a word it is: PEACE.

In reality, who or whom dominates (by status quo) the "mainstream mind" that is "controlled"? Mystics with spiritual technology and knowledge about the body and heart. These mystics are often secret, they hold ancient, indigenous wisdom that is esoteric (few have the experience or worth to understand it, having gone through an intense initiation or descent into the "underworld").

Why do many people fail to see the whole picture of reality, living in ignorance? People are asleep because the mystical, spiritual technology is used by the elites and connected with ancient lineages. Their wisdom is not yet accessible to all. Thus, minds are compartmentalized and the supposed "care takers" of Earth maintain a more whole perspective about the past and future while others live "in the dark." The elite's concept is highly related to the "philosopher king" concept of Plato. Non-philosopher kings, or elite, are people who are, often, "slaves to their mind" having not experienced the underworld or higher worlds - let alone intelligence of the true middle world - its pitfalls, potentials and truth.

Especially in the West where practical spirituality is not nearly as common as "religion", this lack of access to the three worlds is a result of spiritual ignorance. People get indirect access to this though established religion e.g. "the trinity" and other formal religious concepts and structures for the mainstream mind. These structures are largely un-conscious however - in that they are rarely contempalted or experienced by "religion" followers.

How might one help fix the lack of peace in mind control? accessing the True Nature of Mind and Human Potential? Further the integration of spirit, philosophy and science through practical wisdom and compassionate, often ancient coupled with modern teaching and experience related to global, empowering natural laws and personal experiences that awaken peace on physical, mental and spiritual levels.

Create a culture of sustainable peace through organizing with a global campaign for departments and ministries of peace. Work with the bio-sophical institute.

At the same time, take mysticism and peace-inducing practices that are being used by the elite into a new context that makes the peace strong, mainstream and growing upon itself and others. Make the esoteric roots, the reality of original religion into the exoteric (mainstream) conventional wisdom, common sense and experience of all beings.

Work on a grass roots (small roots) and "redwoords roots" (the deepest roots) and mycilium (the largest roots, spanning miles) level to spread non violent communication, consciousness and embodiment. This movement will mushroom upon the access to deep roots that feed short roots. Youth need wisdom and our compassion, the wise need youth to awaken and lead us into peace.

Converge with the mission of the biosophical institute and promote NVC and practical practices that enable mental liberation, whole consciousness and character education at all levels of development.

Work and play towards realizing friendship among individuals, within "the [autonomous or liberated through the experience of true and deep inner peace] selves" that get empowerment, work with nature, culture, between governments and play among the most powerful forces on the planet.

Integral Education Flow Essay

As I was making an Integral Education facebook group, I got carried away and wrote a few pages. =) Here is the rest of my writings:

Simply, this group is made for keeping connected and getting MORE connected through Facebook.

Members are encouraged to increasingly look "East" and "West" as they survey the future and past, seeking a new paradigm of education that serves and awakens authenticity, wholeness, critical consciousness, and heart-centering through the personal experience and understanding of potentials and pitfalls of life. As opposed to indoctrination about reality, we prefer an experiencial, wholistic model of reality that integrates all human knowledge. High or low, we avoid fear of the depths of human suffering by nourishing solutions to the root causes of sad issues.

We realize the history being taught in schools is often baloney... remarkably, in that it is written "about wars" and worse, by those who have "won" them. Education has been infiltrated by economic forces who are loosing power to the age of information... the system of dominating and compartmentalizing human beings cannot stand in the new age of information and integral education. Thanks to the internet, the world is now "flat" which enables us to keep connecting on higher levels. My brother now hangs our with his friends through video conference all the time.

History taught (at least in America), often, is xenophobic or purely ignores foreign cultures. The choices of languages taught in schools today are also, often, chosen in a racist manner. Such is the opposite of integral education. Integral education considers ethics on deep levels, and thus the deep reality of human services and rights, no matter how difficult and how downtrodden the economic and historical forces of evil have enslaved races, can be considered. "Economic history" indoctrination as it may be found to be dominated at King's College, Harvard and MIT by one "Emma Rothschild" should to be addressed in an open and nonviolent, productive dialog. The Rothschild family men should be exposed for their control and immense power.

Brain washing, domination, control of humanity and economic history is not acceptable behavior in the eyes of integral education. The ideas of empire and royalty are not positive to the extent that they encourage domination. Partnership and the True wealth of nations as described by Riane Eisler is a higher philosophy for economic and social, historical and political activism.

Integral education is positive and solutions-based. Though it, we flee oppression and educate for Liberation, Heart and Wisdom. Compassion and Peace are central, like freedom of the mind. We flee brain-washing, indoctrination, mind-control, and secrecy. We embrace dialog, subtle energies or body-consciousness and health practices, the sacred, world religions and cultures, statistics that help us understand the global condition of humanity. We realize that we can die any moment, and so we live each day and moment as if it is maybe the last. In this manner, we realize immortality now. When we have matured to this level of consciousness, we realize a deeper level of peace. In this, we are not afraid to speak our mind but instead empower with words. Lives of "Quiet Desperation" do not work with integral education.

Indeed, integral education is often concerned with the overlap of health and heart as opposed to the status quo of spiritless, sickness-centered health education. We support preventative and integrative health care. We detest ignorance in education while supporting socialized health care that is economical through PI (prevention and cross cultural integration of ancient and modern practices from tantra to prayer, yoga, tai chi and mediation). Health, spirituality, sexuality, mind-expansion, coaching and therapy can be interconnected in helping us develop to higher levels of consciousness and development.

We embrace a psychology that is spirited, wholistic and experiential less than a psychology that is xenophobic or in-doctrinal.

We embrace the scientific method as it, when applied to the true integral education model, can help prove efficacy of our studies which, ideally, unite science and ethics as all science should and must.

We do not argue because we KNOW the efficacy of integral education - nobody can argue with the truth. Despite the competitive, "standardized-mind" status quo of education, dynamic and INDIVIDUALIZED truth, objectivity and non-competition (cooperation, peace, harmony, organization, working together) are at the heart of what we seek within and through integral education. Conscious cooperation, wisdom and peace are hallmarks of our approach to life. We hold a high standard for humanity and do not accept the idea that ignorance is bliss. Though many have lost hope in life, we do not give up on them. Instead, we help to show them "the way" to happiness, truth, peace and spiritedness in whatever manner we can.

We oppose literal "running around in circles" during "physical education" courses in place of learning why people do this practice and what options are right for individuals to nurture their healthy heart and physical health and fluid happiness.

In I-edu we seek to make stellar theories flow into practice, serving others and ourselves until the world knows a deeper realization of true peace and justice that prophets, sages, saints and innocent children see as our birthright.

This avenue is essentially timeless... we achieve this Integral Education through a Life Practice of awakening to the natural lessons offered in each moment of the cosmic Gift we call Life. We also seek advice from those who have gone before us, learning from their lessons while flowing with the currents of change as they arise with all forms of sensory observation, love and conscious awareness.

As raised in the Essene gospels of peace, we realize that humanity is composed of positive and negative forces - evil and good. We do not deny this but instead seek to nourish our virtues and purify or balance the polarities that influence life. To be effective integral education agents, we do not shy away from our responsibility to share our wisdom with others, but instead seek to remain in the "flow state."

This evening, I was talking with a close childhood friend who is new to working in NYC with insurance. His apartment mates are working at some leading investment banking firms, also recent college graduates.......

We got to talking about my research which led to further investigation...

I now have the most clear proof I have seen about a family's, the Rothschild's, world economic domination. Please see the section "Accounting for the Rothschild Wealth and Influence" at this section of GoldEagle.com to understand what reporter Frederic Morton has said about this issue (notice the numbers about the ROTHSCHILD NET WORTH. These numbers are from the book: The Rothschilds: A Family Portrait: The World's Most Amazing Success Story by F. Morton)

Now, despite what my friend's room mates heard and what all logic shows when one understands the consensus history of the family... are Morton's numbers reliable?
Who is this Frederic Morton author anyways? For his numbers are important, claiming that this one family controls over half the world's money supply!

A simple look on Wikipedia reveals, "From 1959 Morton worked for several American periodicals, mainly as a columnist (The New York Times, Esquire, and Playboy)."

Furthermore, he is depicted on the Wikipedia web page being honored with a metal by the President of Austria (seen above).

Now, the movie posted earlier in this blog was called "Bloodlines of Power" but I recently learned it has other names as well. These include:

and "Ring of Power" - THIS IS THE REAL NAME

On a slightly separate note, finally, posted on this blog again (from a different source), is the Alex Jones - David De Rothschild interview/debate.

In this, Alex essentially "runs over" David... making us wonder why David even went on the show... he does NOT even question Alex when he brings up his family's multi-trillion dollar resources... stating that he "only came on the show to talk about" supposed "climate change"... and his children's book (warning children they might not survive it, eugenics, etc are not something he is willing to talk about). I actually own a copy of the book and IT IS a children's book with many, many pictures although David claims it is for ("dumb? child like?" Alex asks) adults. This book is not serious and offers zero new ideas despite the supposed gravity of our situation.

This is a very complex issue.

It appears that the answers are not "black and white"... but some things are sure.. the Ring of Power movie advocates arresting the Rothschild family for their economic swindling. Is this warranted? Is it realistic? Will whole peace and justice prevail on earth?...

Before talking about the Rothschilds, the Ring of Power aka Empire of the City aka Secret Rulers of the World aka Bloodlines of Power movie, (section 14 is linked to above) talks about a program called HAARP. This program allegedly entails secret technology that can be used to alter weather patterns... some might cry "conspiracy" but do your homework and you will see this is a real issue and not just a theory..!

Perhaps, elite, secret forces "on high" are dominating the environment? Creating wars and diversions/perversions so as to keep the "herd" of humanity occupied from the reality of our (world) economic sustainability (the reality is, capitalism is a deck of cards? Almost like Enron... in the intriguing book Truth of Tao, Alex Anatole claims that ecologists tend to be hiding personal abuse which they channel into their activism...

Sustainability is said to be a wholistic concept as first born in MIT labs... it may have important implications. Surely, I think the world movement for unity, peace, sustainability, and social awakening (socialism?) is important to some degree... However, where do economics play in? Does (their so called) economic sustainability imply simply sustaining the Rothschild's insane wealth? I hope and think not... I pray that their elitism will crumble like the falsity of their Jewishness (they claim to be Jewish while supporting the Nazis as learned in Ring of Power). (Side note: The Jews are not the problem, the international banking, elite, "illuminati" Rothschild's unwillingness to dialog, come clean, release information and their undermining of social, economic and environmentalism IS, it appears, THE PROBLEM OF OUR AGE). Their "Polar Foundation" propaganda arm refused to attend the Central Connecticut State University Climate Change Summit I invited them to. Meanwhile, David thinks that because he has "been to" (supposedly trecked through) the poles of Earth, he knows they are melting and we all risk death... where is the proof? Can anyone offer it? If you are in the UK why does that stop you from coming to the USA when global warming is an international problem? and you have many mansions in the USA anyways?

The Rothschild family is clearly covering up the History and Presence of Economic Reality. This can be seen in the work of "Honorable" Emma Rothschild. She has written on Common Security, Education, the UN University and other topics of interest... I hope we can get in touch soon.. as I would like to review a number of her articles.

At the heart of all this complexity, I believe there is a true and perhaps genuine effort to obtain social, economic and environmental awakening on earth under the term "sustainability." This effort to realize wholistic peace and global education for justice is a SOLUTION but the liberation of knowledge about Economic and Technological history (and history in general) which fosters critical consciousness (to use a Freire term) as through distributing the Ring of Power movie. That, may a be an important key to realizing justice and letting people.

It appears there is infinite darkness and light in this funny kosmos, which shall we choose? The octopus of death at the bottom of the ocean? or that and the truth, compassion and wisdom at the heart of our cold universe?

A showing of such art, including many torture scenes perpetrated by the Chinese government, is now on exhibit at the Charter Oak Cultural Center in Hartford, Connecticut. The exhibit will be showing for about the remainder of the month. There will be a movie showing and panel discussion event along with a closing ceremony this month as well.

That artist of the above painting and the other scenes (many depicting the worst types of torture) are now on display after tonight. A couple Yale professors, many people from China, and practitioners of Falun Gong reminded me and others about the situation in China...

The communist party is afraid of revolution by the growing number of people who practice Qi Gong (a spiritual practice that helps the mind, health, power and intelligence like Tai Chi can but more advanced energetically, combining Taoism and Buddhism). The number of followers for this group grows daily around the world in many countries: the books, lessons, meetings, audio and video teachings for health, happiness and holiness are available FREE.

Still, however, in the China religion is outlawed. There is no justice here. There is no respect for the United Nations mandate on Human Rights, or any other international law when it comes to the communists trying to hold onto their power by practicing religious genocide, to this day, on people who practice Qi Gong. Of course, the president of America is not one to protest China's leadership either. Like Google.com Inc., he bows down before the censorship, injustice and cowardice of the Chinese regime.

This makes me wonder if the UN has much integrity either.

Many Christians, Buddhists (particularly Tibetan), and indigenous religions are being persecuted, tortured, run out of the country, jailed and murdered for their religious (and thus political) power in China. A Yale professor informed me, tonight, that 42 types of people are NOT WELCOME into China for the 2008 World Olympics.

Get this, one of the groups outlawed is: anyone who supports democracy in China.

How can this make sense on the world stage?

I would think everyone in the Olympics supports democracy and human rights in China and elsewhere, but will those people have the heart to maintain face? Or are they so concerned with physical sport and COMPETITION that the peaceful Olympic spirit will die in China?

The spirit of the Olympics is about inclusion. So, how can the world have an Olympics under this communist, dictator, terror-practicing, genocide supporting, oppresive regime? Does democracy even exist in the world? A growing number of people in America are realizing it does not quite exist. I.E. the murder of JFK, the domination of the Skull and Bones, the rigged election machines, the hoax election in 2000 and 2004, the inability to enact campaign finance reform...the list could go on forever.

Olympics are supposed to be about peace, harmony and freedom. Allowing the Olympics to take place in China with the genocide of Qi Gong practitioners, is akin to the WORLD saying "we give up" on freedom and have absolutely no backbone or leadership. This mother-ship Earth is headed for...! HINT: the opposite of heaven, salvation, bliss, healing compassion, tolerance (as is depicted in wonderful art above, and at the gallery).

The gallery showed hell and heaven - to be tortured and to be in bliss. What will win in your inner life? Your external life? In your state? country? on this world?

In the art, those who were doing the torturing had dark halos around their head - signs they will "get theres" and be punished in the afterlife. While, those who were practicing non-violent struggle in standing up for their religion, health and culture - enjoyed white light and bright halos around their heads. This was meant, to the artists, to signify their ascent to heaven.

A Yale professor told me, "this current situation is just like the Olympics in Europe during World War II" (when Jews, Gypsies, Blacks and Gays were not allowed to participate). Now anyone who vocalizes religious freedom and self-rule shall be blocked from participation. Or will they? Will the world stand up for religious justice? Or will this event force the Communists to change? because something MUST change (either the world or the communists). Justice? The law of heaven? the law of earth? What shall prevail? the law of humanity? as in human rights.

Might the world community protest China and not show up at the Olympics? In America, celebrities Richard Gere and Mia Farrow are urging a BOYCOTT and in India Tibetans and Buddhists are protesting. Now, with Darfur at central stage, the call to protest China is growing even louder.

In the end, China's communist-capitalist dualism will certainty have to be balanced out... from harvesting organs to making dangerous toys, there are numerous reasons to boycott rather than reward China. Any gold medals won in China will have the blood of religious freedom and torture splattered across them until justice is served in China. Organ harvesting during the Olympics is simply not acceptable and freedom of reporters in China is also important - though the Chinese WILL try to limit the word getting out about anything other than the games.

Will the communist party fall under world pressure from the Olympics/world? So much attention IS nourishing change. Surely, at the scene of the Olympics some real drama will go down with people protesting, getting abused, and the world looking on in horror. Or, the communists will be very careful - stay under the "radar" and not draw publicity. However, I am sure the protesters will be present at the Olympics. People who know about elite physical culture also know about Qi Gong and power dynamics. The Olympics just might PURIFY China and bring some semblance of justice to the country!

Democracy, freedom of religion, and the power of Qi Gong or preventative, universal health care is on the line in the clash of worlds coming to a fore in 2008. Qi gong awakens high powers of consciousness in humans, and people who practice it tend to be highly conscious and intelligent... this surely will be an interesting clash of worlds.

Alex Jones Interviews Lord(?) David De Rothschild

That character with the bullhorn in the visionary, thoughtful, perhaps psychedellic movie "Waking Life" is actually the real life character Alex Jones, a renegade muckraking reporter. Jones spreads fear and knowledge in his reporting, directing this from the reality of corruption and dominator secret societies that analogously chew up and spit out common folk. He has a website, a media outlet called "prison planet" and another called "info wars"...

One month ago I learned from the INCREDIBLE 5 hour "Illuminati Bloodlines of power" documentary (see past post) and a bit of further reading, that the powerful banking family, the Rothschilds, are sitting on perhaps well over 500 trillion dollars. The movie suggested we arrest them... Holding this much $ means they wield over half the world's wealth. When I tried to contact representatives of this empire/banking cartel's archives to learn more about their art and architecture holdings, they wanted all kinds of information about: where I live and who is in charge of my studying. They also did not give me access to their archives (even) after I submitted all kinds of information about myself! Since one is not "refereeing" (monitoring from above the hierarchy...) my studies, they claim, one might not using their archives "responsibly" and thus is denied access. Who ever heard of such secrecy and control of academia by a banking cartel trying to hide what they are hiding? Obviously it is something huge - this can now be considerd an Open Secret.

I took it upon myself to do a bit more research on this family and learned a lot... One thing, is that David De Rothschild, a powerful heir to the English family fortune has become an environmentalist and traveled to both poles of Earth. I also learned about claims that the Rothschild's corrupt family and friends started the environmental movement while lacking the best of intentions, perhaps, in some areas. I read about conspiracy, the families supposed devil worship, their leading of Zionism in establishing the motherland of Israel, of speculative relation to secret societies, and even found a picture of a green dragon on their website. Oh no! Investigating their philanthropy led me to the Polar foundation wesbite which is an organization that purports to be measuring the melting of polar ice caps and teaching about this...

After reading an interview with David De Rothschild on TreeHugger.com, I noticed a comment highlighting that David had "survived" an interview with the above mentioned energetic reporter, Alex Jones.

This interview between Jones and Rothschild, I found, is quite entertaining. Both characters are intelligent and powerful - their worlds collide in this interview. Parts of this exchange are not quite peaceful, Jones is constantly attacking the "Lord" Rothschild and pinning his family against the world family (a concept talked about in Peace Education). The interview ends when Rothschild says, perhaps sarcastically, to Jones: you can "bring me food" when we meet at one of my mansions. Rothschild was perhaps making a sick joke as perceived reasonably by Jones. More likely, however, Lord David was showing that he may have some heart - unlike how his family may have been operating consistently throughout history and to this day:

"Give me control of the economics of a country; and I care not who makes her laws."

All of David and Alex's (argument) interview is almost funny. That is, until one considers the level of eugenics and corruption that the Rothschild's may have been engaged in these past couple centuries. Perhaps this powerful family should be exposed and arrested for financial and humanitarian crimes? That does NOT mean David is a sort of or potentially "kind" fellow. He might be that or a gangster, or mind-controlled. Perhaps there is a chance he will help the family empire's secret massive wealth be directed toward justice (and I deeply hope he will, so tried to start a dialog...) but I do not know.... so far no responsive - his "environmental" ecology organizations with all kinds of headquarters and millions of dollars seems to be dead - no reply!

These important revelations obviously put a profound new spin on the deep work I have been involved in locally and beyond. That is, studying and promoting Education for Global Sustainability.

Conspiracy around climate confusion can be explored in the above linked interview, in relation to other groups, and in the lecture: "George Hunt: UNCED Summit Rothschild" There seems to be some false science being employed...

Meanwhile and still, David De Rothschild seems like he might be (trying to be, sincerely perhaps) a kind fellow. He is on Youtube a few times talking about environmentalism and the Polar Foundation, Adventure Ecology, the Live Earth, his book on 77 ways to reduce your eco-footprint and other organizations. He has been to both poles and studied naturopathy. I would like to dialog with David, so I invited him and his organizations to a climate summit at Central Connecticut State University that my friend is helping organize for early next year. So far after a couple weeks, no reply.

David's education ecology group claims to be open to and even promoting of dialog, and so I hope he and these groups are not just facades, but stand up for this apparent, supposed dialogical ethic and do not back down from this important conversation.

I inserted a link on David's Wikipedia article to his interview with Alex Jones but it was soon thereafter removed. I am not surprised this was removed, as the interview was FAR from good PR for the family. I think it was deeply interesting and important however, even evincing some deeply essential dialog towards explaining the reality of world affairs and their direction or domination...

If David was attacked from the moment he went on air with Jones, why did David even go on the show? It might be that he is caught between his family's old money and his conscience which is telling him to "awaken to a higher consciousness." Perhaps David is caught between a force that says "steer the world to Wholeness and Peace" and one that says "protect the family" while he is getting complex messages from both... because this is certainly a complex situation that begs further civil and intelligent discourse - stay tuned and spread the word.

I have been thinking much, lately, about "Mind Control" since this is the etymological meaning of the word "govern" "ment[al]" or government - to "control the mind"... Contributing to this is my observation of a movement: I feel the world has found a little hope in the "campaign" or really MOVEMENT to make a Cabinet level Department of Peace in America.

After the Student Peace Alliance Conference I searched Youtube for Marshall Rosenberg's (Speaking Peace aka) Non Violent Communication. I found a great, long interview on Youtube with NYC's "Further down the rabbit whole" talk show host, Paula Gloria. After enjoying this fabulous interview, I then looked at Gloria's most popular show. #1 was about a topic so strange yet illuminating that I do not even know what to write about it. The NYT just came out with with an illuminating article about Yoga in schools. At one high school in Needham Mass, seniors are now REQUIRED to practice yoga.

This breakthrough synchronisticaly reflects the insight I had recently. That is, that "yoga is the proper activity of a human life"! I suspect the great, most famous Yogi, Gandhi, would agree :)

Student Peace Alliance, Peace and Justice Studies Assoctation and Misc.

Its been a few weeks since my last post. Since then, I participated in the Peace and Justice Studies Association Conference held at Elizabethtown College near Amish country and Hershey PA. This turned out to be an intriguing conference, while I presented on my research with a paper called "...Sacred Model of Peace Learning..." about my study of progressive education, journaling, dialog and wholism. This paper should be available, now, on the paxeducare.org website. My only criticism of the conference is that it lacked wholistic studies as an aspect of the peace being studied... this is really a criticism of the entire field, in that very few college programs have yet to integrate this ("upper left quadrant" in the Wilberian integral model) level of scholarship - if any. Nonetheless, everyone I met with seems to be open to this pro-preace concept, including the author of a book called Citizenship Under Fire, presenting at the conference, and offering a chapter about the topic. She saw this idea of wholistic peace as a , or "the" solution as part of what this Israeli woman terms "expansive education." I skimmed her book and found it quite interesting.

The Peace and Justice Studies Association sells a book which is a guide to all the degree programs offered, at least in the USA, on the topic of Peace studies. Google that if interested!

In other events, Dr. Mary Lee Morrison and I were recently interviewed in the local access TV channel by a social worker who founded the social services/counseling organization "Hopeworks" here in West Hartford. Together, we discussed our work in the field of peace activism, current events and our understanding of these and new directions in education.

Finally, last weekend, I was very happy to attend the first annual Student Peace Alliance conference at Brandeis University. This was a fabulous event in which Mahatmas Gandhi's grandson spoke, Nobel laureate Betty Reardon and a host of other interesting leaders were present. It was exciting to meet the leaders of the campaign for a cabinet level department of peace, fellow student activists and organizers (such as Dot Maver whose book I have recently read, called "Conscious Education: Bridge to Freedom). I look forward to supporting this campaign more; researching it, envisioning the outcome, and working towards that......

I look forward to making this Student Peace Alliance venture more empowered, or "integral" as it begins to work with, perhaps, more theory and practice of multicultural and wholistic education. For example, I think proactive health education, or "new public health" (as the UN is calling this now) such as integrative nutrition, yoga, mindfulness training, etc, could be a strong asset... The word "govern" "ment" means control/govern of mind/mental and I do not believe peace will be realized until we, as individuals, start from within (educare, the root word of education has this meaning).

While in Boston, I met with Michael Munson who leads some 20 Body and Brain clubs affiliated with Dhan Yoga. This was a very nice meeting which we had planned for a long while. His group is working on some great projects such as supporting many new, inner city teachers through wholistic empowerment. I also got to meet with a new friend whose working on a masters degree in religions through Harvard and has been closely aligned with the integral movement. Overall, it was a very exciting weekend.

Even the 1.5 hour video of him, on there, talking about corporate NVC (non violent communication) is, well , I think its enlightening! I highly suggest this work to one and all, and feel that Marshall is a model of how people must relate in the future peaceful world. Now, time to get the elite (mind control) forces (re: government) to joyfully realize this, practice it and move toward awakening peace consciousness here and now. I look forward to organizing with this group more...on to the governator.

Did you know there is a campaign to create a "cabinet level department of peace" in America? Yesterday I spoke with the "Student Peace Alliance" president, Aaron Voldman. Aaron got his start in peace studies at Goddard College's Vermont Peace Academy as a young man, including work with Non Violent communication. You can google the "student peace alliance" to learn about an upcoming conference at Brandeis University in October if you think you might be able to attend!

That, will be great and they will provide awesome speakers and opportunities...also you can stay at a dorm so you wont have to book a hotel! Arun Ghandi will be speaking and judging from the last time I saw him - it will surely be an enlightening and energizing talk!

Anyways, the chair of the board for the campaign on creating a cabinet level department of peace (like a balance to West Point...) is currently Marianne Williamson. The real point of this post was to mention that I stumbled upon an interesting lecture with Marianne at the website of Mystic Caroline Myss. I enjoyed that lecture and maybe you will too?

How great would that be to have a department of the government working on peace issues as a focus? Who are the great minds that will make that revolution realized and successful if it is our destiny? How will we do it? Or, perhaps better stated: how will we BE that change? Intu-Flow

Having more time, after graduating college, I have restarted my practice of Intu-Flow which is about joint mobility/range of motion. Interestingly, it is understood that our age is determined by our joints - almost like the rings on a tree!

This system is powerful in that it opens all the energy in the body, brings greater intuition, clarity and ease of living. This system is so profound that it can be used to clear out trauma from a human being...

Indeed, Intu-Flow is almost like a Qi Gong or Tai Chi program without the cultural fluff- making it very valuable to Westerners. This program is especially wonderful when combined with Qi Gong (3 regulations of 1. intention, 2. posture and 3. breathing experience) which is integral to the practice anyways. My only criticism is that it could be emphasized more - as in adding a meditation component and going slower on some ranges of motion.

The book about Flow Fit "freedom from fear reactivity" by coach Sonnon is fabulous. Coach Sonnon works with top military, governmental security, Olympic and professional athletes and has won many awards - going through a lot of struggle and glory in his personal life in which he liberated these techniques from Russia. Now, his company is donating much of his materials to ALL military officials. In fact, this "CIRCULAR STRENGTH TRAINING" has been "NAMED AN OFFICIAL HEALTH AND CONDITIONING SYSTEM FOR U.S. ARMY"! see here

Interesting is how this work implicitly enhances the spiritual energy in the body. Clubbels are implements like heavy bats used by Rmax to work on "circular" as opposed to linear strength. If you look at drawings of of Hanuman, Vishnu or other ancient Hindu gods and Hindu wrestlers they are often depicted with these sorts of implements.

Let me know if you want to borrow my copy of Intu-Flow... it is quite fun and I wish I had found it 13 years ago when I was 10! Seriously, it clears out trauma/stress and helps bring you to a new state of optimal health...

The Chinese Goddess and the Sheng Zhen Society

So I was trying to think of some cool things to put on my blog and I remembered this, Kuan Yin the Chinese Goddess of Compassion dance art ...she is the Goddess who protects children and suffering people with her 10,000 arms and hands that have eyes in them, able to reach out to the whole world through kindness/mercy:

While searching for the above, my jaw dropped as I noticed world renown Qi Gong Teacher, Li Jun Feng, has allowed some fabulous content of his to be placed on Youtube. One can now try and practice the first 5 movements of his fabulous healing Qi Gong form! You are in for a treat!

The Kuan Yin standing form is on there as well, as is the Tai Chi Shen Gong... both are wonderously empowering. I own the full version, dvd/vhs copies of his Tai Chi Sheng Gong, Healing Qi Gong and ShengZhen Wuji Yuan Gong. Also, all his great books and poetry are nice...

I feel it is very kind and beneficial that his Sheng Zhen society has put this stuff online for people to taste and even get healed by! it used to be quite secret - and still is to a certain degree...

Also, one can see part of a documentary, a lecture (part two is glowing...part one is good too) and a clip from some impressive training from when Teacher Li was acting in a martial arts flick earlier in his life.

I think you do not want to miss this!

In fact, clear 10 minutes and maybe sit up, taking a deep breath, clear your mind and practice this the qi gong form right in your chair? I dont think you will regret it. Also, just watching the Kuan yin form is powerful without even practicing the movements!

(Dont worry, you dont have to sit like this if its not comfortable!)

Master Li will be teaching Healing Qi Gong teacher training at the Omega Institute later this fall, I may very well attend. As a side note, I was very happy, today, to learn that my friend Dana attended the "Vajra Yoga Social Action - Teacher Training for at Risk Youth" though Omega... I almost went to this but decided not too, calling and talking with the teacher however... I am glad my friend went as I'll be able to review her notes and practice with her. Also, I'm glad I decided to stay at Goddard for an extra couple days instead, letting me chat with Dr. Art Chickering, the "special assistant" to Goddard's president and author of the book Encouraging Authenticity and Spirituality in Higher Education.

Tomorrow I am graduating from Goddard college in Plainfield Vermont. This is the the leading progressive higher education institution in America where they offer "emancipated" student-centered education. My final semester adviser, Dr Francis Charet sits on the board of trustees, heads the consciousness studies masters program and leads the school faculty. Dr. Charet tells me that Goddard employs a "holistic and integral" pedagogy and I look forward to asking him about academic resources to learn more about this unique school which has enabled me to study anything within my hearts desire.

Through Goddard I was able to study what my creative mind and searching heart desired to study: preventative and integrative medicine, world peace education, dialog, etc...

Goddard has treated me well - particularly since I also was able to attain 45 credits through "assessment of prior learning" for studies I had done on my own before arriving.

Thank you Goddard and everyone who has supported me through this obtaining a BA! Thank you Tom Pitkin for your vision in creating Goddard and Mark Schulman for being our bold president. Thanks to Francis and Ralph for asking me to humble myself, work on my ego and clarity this final semester. I attended the perhaps historic, first Integral Education conference at the Whidbey Institute Organization this past week. The event was organized by Next Step Integral, IONS and Pacific Integral (google any of this for more info...).

I met over 60 incredible people including top students and teachers of the Integral Institute/Ken Wilber, heads of schools, Zen practitioners, academics, many teachers, many many learners working on graduate degrees, therapists, music educators, a number of people looking to open schools, someone working on education in developing countries out of Japan, a business consultant, a politician and lawyer who teaches high school, a dancer, visionaries, yogis, many meditation experts, healers, philosophers, practitioners of arts and science, followers of spiritual, scientific, personal, communal, sustainable, ecological and wholistic evolution through applying the AQAL map of Ken Wilber.

I find it energizing that Ken Wilber has received accolades from many leaders in congress in addition to Bill Clinton, Al Gore and even Karl Rove. Many other celebrities now too... it seems and people talk as though Integral Institute work is on the tip of becoming quite popular...

I look forward to further collaboration with Integral Next Step who organized this event. The slogan, "From Cradle to kosmos" is fun.

During this week, we danced to great world music, stretched, practiced experiential education and games evincing cutting-edge world and kosmocentric mind-body-spirit awakening reveltations, we played Frisbee, ate wonderful food, were entertained by a shaman, ran though sprinklers, went on hikes, met with leaders, worked with our shadow and god-nature, shared visions and accomplishments while establishing deep roots with others leaders in the emerging sustainable, integral education field.

Seeking to transcend the ego and limited cultural conceptions, I we were blessed to philosophize and practice some of the leading edge work in education and human endeavor?! Yes, clearly, I am glad I attended this event!

The island was magnificently beautiful as were the people and consciousness there. I look forward to connecting with the people there more, and means have been established for us to keep this line of communication wide open... The whole concept of integral studies deals with keeping oneself and others connected on subjective and objective levels while reaching higher levels of development.

NQA Conference

This past weekend I attended the National Qi Gong conference and had an amazing time, it was fabulous.

I learned that Minnesota is known as the land of the "10,000 lakes" because there is really more than that many around the twin cities! I just referred my new friend in Minn. to a Healing Tao instructor in the area who offers a nice, free, hour-long lecture/practice session on his website along with other resources.

The author of this valuable hour long teaching at the above link holds a degree in International Relations from U. of Wisconsin, Madison. (Interestingly, Bryan also has an account on the integral-minded networking site, Zaadz.com my space on this site is: http://onelove.zaadz.com and was turned on to Qi Gong in a similar way that I was, in a Zen-like fashion, at a concert!) .

At the NQA I was amazed by how much wisdom was present in one location. Literally, I feel my "inner light" shining amazingly high after networking with so many accomplished mind-body mediators, researchers, educators and compassionately wise ones this past week (at Whidbey Island)/weekend (at the NQA)! I got to attend classes with Jampa Mackenzie Stuart, Michael Winn, Solala Towler, and be surrounded by acupuncturists, shiatsu therapists, tantrics, holistic health and Chinese medicine leaders, ethicists, shamans, sages, dancers, doctors, psychologists, authors, warriors, many highly skilled martial artists, life saving doctors, accomplished meditators and zen practitioners, yogis, a massage school owner, the leaders of numerous holistic schools, many many master teachers, the entire NQA board of directors and even a celibate Christian monk psychologist, the producer of the below documentary who I learned is on the Board of Ed for the state of Hawaii and will be working with, people researching school reform, ordained Taoist priests, war veterans, Mark Johnson (see second post), great new friends at awisdomcenter.com and from all around the country, and the leader of the International Institute of Medical Qi Gong, Bernard Shannon...

I am glad to have networked with a couple people researching qi gong for our next generations. I connected these people with the International Institute for Peace Education which they were glad to learn about. The IIPE people, I know from 2 weeks ago, are looking for this sort of curriculum to help awaken peace consciousness in a whole dimension as people hunger for (bringing up grade/test performance, health, consciousness and bringing down school violence/depression)!

I highly recommend YOU/everyone looks into the NQA.ORG site to find a teacher from there, (also Universaltao.com, http://www.tao-garden.com/Inst/, the Qigong Alliance or the Qigong Institute). If you happen to attend next year's conference in Maryland, as I plan to, I gaurantee you WILL NOT be disappointed. In fact I guarantee you will be buzzing with joy as I am right now :). I hope to work out with the NQA about more extensive work-study/volunteer opportunities to get the teachings out online next year and to more people/also a student discount.

Dancing Universe!

Last weekend I attended a "Yoga Trance Dance" teacher training at the Kripalu center for yogic and health studies in the Berkshire Mountains of MA. I had amazing time and met some rad people.

Native cultures, particularly African, most all use drumming and dance which led to/was enhanced by stretching... yoga. Our teacher, Shiva Rea, taught us that yoga and dance were never supposed to be separate! We got to experience this reality for three bliss filled, learning and growing days. Shiva holds a masters in World Culture and Performance from UCLA and her husband is a third generation doctor, acupuncturist and Ayurveda medicine (Indian meaning "Life Science") master teacher thus helping ground her teachings with much rare experience.

I feel Shiva is a great yogini and master dance teacher, mystic, perhaps a sage? I look forward to sharing my teacher status in this program with others! I also look forward to more training with her. Unique, as part of the 500 hour training in Prana (sanskrit for energy like chinese Qi) there is a Yoga Ed option for learning to/helping bring yoga into school curriculum to benefit many.

In this system, the music choices really help bring the yoga/dance flow into motion. I found it extremely fun, healing and secularly spiritual. I also found it quite educational to practice this amazing, sacred, tantric, illuminating and ancient world art!

Notably, Shiva talked about humans consciously evolving from our current Newtonian view of science toward a leap that is entering a Quantum, sacred understanding. I look forward to studying the "teacher's manual" from this course and learning more about the Lord of Dance (Shiva Nataraja) cosmology... I feel this is all INCREDIBLY enjoyable and benevolent stuff!

How did you feel about your education? I just got back from a 3 day conference at the United Nations with the International Inst. of Peace Education. I met a lot of stellar people and learned a whole lot... this is a FABULOUS, wholistic and universal sort of organization.. getting more so. Last year about 65 people attended this event and now over 400 partook! Part of that is due to it being the organizations 25th anniversary. I look forward to presenting there next year and helped present on Education for Global Sustainability with a colleague this year. The UN building in NYC has AMAZING spiritual artwork in it!
The big apple is quite a fun place! I look forward to returning with more time... here is a great link to the little-known UN mandated University for Peace...

The LIFE Force Movement

A couple months ago, my friend questioned if getting certified in Medical Qi Gong might lead to an income/career (and thus freedom from being tied down to the parent's home). At the time, I knew a 400-500 hour certification might work for a career (yoga people get 200-500 hours), and certainly if that was coupled with with further training (such as in: holistic wellness coaching, integrative nutrition or massage). Later however, I reconfirmed that (the mysterious and secret, ancient practice of) a Qi Gong "path" or (through teacher certification) can be a valid career. Particularly... this reflects the fact that we have a massive, *desperate* need and even demand for this semi-secret (few know about Qi gong, but more do every day) preventative medicine.

This realization was spurred when I met a man some weeks weeks ago who is the "spiritual director" at a drug rehab clinic in Western Connecticut. This fellow is certified in about (will have to confirm) two hundred and twenty five (by the IIQTC, see link below) hours of Qi Gong/(and Tai Chi) teacher training, and was once himself a recovering addict. Our friend used Qi practices (self massage, breathing, mindfulness and gentle movements) to get back on track, and now works full-time helping others do the same. This new friend talked about the incredible demand and success he found, emphasizing the need for others to step in and do this work, in just about every city... (FYI - This teacher had also studied the Healing Dao system's Tai Chi for Enlightenment produced by master teacher of Chinese Culture and former Datmouth Fellow, Michael Winn of Heavenly Mountain U. in North Carolina).

This spiritual warrior/healer/teacher, my new friend, left the Omega Institute for Holistic Studies for a day last week, despite that he was working as one of the Tai Chi Easy instructor's class assistants (an assistant to Roger Jahnke, OMD, founder of Institute of Integral Qigong and Tai Chi, IIQTC - see Roger's bio for another example of someone who made a research oriented "career" in this field... look up NQA.org or ask me for more info if you are interested...) in an
"Easy" Tai Chi... class.

The occasion for the Spiritual Director's leaving our seminar for a day, was that a bigshot president of AOL-Time Warner and his wife happen to be coming to visit the rehab clinic to see about reproducing the fabulous results this Spiritual (qi rehab) Director attained in helping addicts through "self applied healing methods" or "Qi Gong" led by this instructor/teacher/spiritual director at the drug/alchohol clinic. Roger Jahnke, our Easy Tai Chi teacher at Omega, was the man's mentor and is my colleague, as a researcher of Qi. Roger is THE pioneer at bridging the essence of Eastern (Yoga and Qi Gong/Tai Chi) practices for a mainstream modern Western audience. Thanks to Roger, a growing and "mainstream" population of Western humans can now "get high on chi" and enrich their existence in school, church or the local senior centers with ease.

I know countless people who have tried trippy mushrooms and herbs of all kinds, even perhaps every synthetic drug (I grew up outside of Hartford Connecticut). From meeting all these people and even researching organic "entheogens" ("generates-Gen, god-Theo, within-En") to the point of literally becoming a scholar in indigenous, organic (some say "shamanic") psychedellic culture... I have learned one thing.

I found that one thing rules drug culture, the secret of CHI! (This is, a deep topic worth further attention in another blog entry...perhaps the topic of a future book....)

That is, the most sustainable and fun "high" is that which we can enjoy through Qi or "Life Force energy" (Qi is spelled Chi or Ki). Imagine telling that to a group of at-risk youth before getting high with them on their own chi? Its better than any kind of drug! It is good for the sex life, intelligence and heart!
Imagine, under performing youth in Hartford being promised to achieve though focusing with calmness and clarity of mindfulness practice? Meeting even "No Child Left Behind" standards?!
Be calm, non violent, grades improve and everyone is happy. This is the Healing Promise of Chi which is the illuminating title of Roger's second and intriguing, important book after The Healer Within which is, itself, quite "high" inducing to read. The ECONOMIC factor of bringing peace to the war on drugs? That is a part of a larger cultural change... health and social realities of this magical practice are profound...

I know, Qi has helped my life and world view turn around from chronic pain to chronic joy.
As the secrets are revealed, a growing number of people can say the same... and thus I have started this blog to say the truth and get the word out. Expect videos on this blog...

Indeed, the demand for Qi Gong is massive right now, people are "open" to being happy and healthy, that is clear and obvious!
As information flows like never before, many populations from sick, recovering addicts to simply stressed teachers and students trying to learn, our ministry and clergy, the elders or seniors, or people who are healthy and simply want to be MORE healthy, whole, peaceful and happy... Prevention or healing of sick people... As of recently, awakening to their royal healing resources for free has become the possible thanks to the gate of Chi opening in our "FREE" (they do not have a free society in China) society in the West (ahh global politics, a story for another blog entry!).

Whose not interested in the mysterious and mystical Qi?
Yes, even lay scientists cannot deny the power of Qi Gong to relax, clear and purify the physiology and psychology (body, mind, behavior). The breadth and depth of the studies are stunning... and just beginning. (However, the political climate around Qi Gong in its native land, China, is a topic for another day's blog... and much inquiry into the significance of the "Cultural Revolution"...).

The point is that one can find ample work teaching this art, if they have the qualifications and something to offer. By qualifications, one really needs a formal course/certification of at least 200 hours, but it depends on the venue one would like to work in and how serious they are.

For a career? 500 hours of training will get one started, and 1000 will make one an expert or senior sort of pro according to the National Qigong Association. For facilitating as opposed to teaching, or helping spread the Chi with peers informally, a simple 20 hour course and previous background, interest and further study will help. Someone with no training, called an "enthusiastic citizen" by Dr. Jahnke of the IIQTC, can also share these practices with others. Thus, they can become a "hero" in spreading preventative health practices and saving people from illness with zero "certification" from some top down government (Qi cannot and will not be regulated by the government, but ethics always have and will contain people from abusing the power).

I will soon talk with Dr. Jahnke of the IIQTC about PAYING people to learn and then facilitate Qi gong for elderly populations. I felt weird going to Omega Inst. for Holistic Studies to pay for research I was doing to benefit others. If Qi practices are truly going to save insurance companies a lot of money, shouldn't we be able to organize with them to support the dissemination of such practices economically? Surely, a comprehensive study of the economic benefits or pitfalls of this idea should make for fascinating research when the time is right (perhaps that will be funded by the NIH Complementary and Alternative Medicine division).

I recently noticed the Qi Gong institute has a little marketing campaign, here is an image of a student taking a short break to center herself, to keep her mind from wandering and her body calm (qi is linked with the "rest and digest" or parasympathetic nervous system as opposed to fight/flight) to promote efficient studying.

In school, students carry heavy backpacks, they study and sit at non-ergonomically good chairs (or in fine chairs but with poor posture) for many hours on end every day. The human body was made to move, not sit all day to be fed information! In fact, most people in school school suffer from misaligned bodies or don't even know they are suffering from misaligned bodies and braings and hearts. This is called STUDENT SYNDROME and is an actual illness (that a chiropractor told me about) which I, and I hope WE intend to study more for the benefit of those who care for, our babies, children and grandchildren. Either physical or mental, what student (even, what researcher?) cannot relate to this?

People talk about there being no "panacea" for health care or human potential, but Qi Gong is beyond health care and enters the realm of spirited-care, mental-care, edu-care, and govern-mental care (carefully controlling the mind! mental-mind, govern-control).

Qi is ultimately about virtue, or service (what the Indian Yogis call purified "Karma"). That, nourishes "destiny" of humanity, linking life with the heart, earth, the celestial (heaven, here and now) sphere and building one's OWN defenses to keep out conflict and let peace be in the heart.

Qi Gong is the "grand"mother of Tai Chi (and perhaps even yoga). I was recently corresponding with a highly respected Tai Chi teacher named Mark Johnson. Mark literally teaches Tai Chi to the “stars” as his students include “Tom Cruise, Nicolas Cage, Patrick Swayze” and many others. Mark loves the "integral" sphere and wrote an article on the NQA website about connecting Qi Gong with integral practice. Anyways,he told me that his plan is to write a book called “Life as Play” and then go on Oprah etc, making Qi Gong a household term. Mark sent me the cover design of his book, and I look forward to sending him a reply letter in which I will ask about its potential contents.

In the final analysis, Qi Gong or Chi Kung or Ki (or however you spell it... life (as work combining with play) force, life force, is on the rise.

We in the West, are privileged when all of Asian and World culture is looking to have its hands empowered with integrity...

I think that it would be fun to make a list of all the "star" teachers, those who impart their wisdom on celebrities or stars that rely on Qi Gong/Tai Chi (or Yoga) for refreshing their good energy. One such "star teacher" that comes to mind is Paulie Zink who happens to be teaching at the Omega Institute this weekend. Zink taught his good friend, the lead singer of "Van Halen" etc. and charges about $400 for an hour private lesson! My good friend, Rose, is taking Zink's Omega course this weekend and has been working at Omega the past few weeks (the only reason I DONT want to go, is that a weekend to study with this guy is too short! I want a month at least, maybe two! This seminar is too short and Zink is tooo funny AND authentic... Indeed, last year I suggested to his wife through email that he should teach at Omega. Now, he is doing it! The problem is, I intended to see Zink doing a teacher training at Omega and not just a weekend!

Another Tai Chi teacher of the stars is Mantak Chia whose taught, at least, Tiger woods (google "Tao Garden" to find proof if it is still on that website of the Thailand retreat/training spa) and thus enable him to have the best calmness, precision and balance in the world of golf!

Off the top of my head I also know that Ravi and Anna Singh teach Kundalini yoga the stars. Duncan Wong too... many others I am ignorant of, or name escapes me at this moment... including at LEAST two at Omega this summer who I have not mentioned...

Wouldnt it be interesting to do a study combining whole systems of wholistic "star" teachers? The Qi ones at least?

I decided to start this blog because I think it could be useful for connecting my life's studies with a larger audience. In this, there should be more of what Ken Wilber and Allan Combs call the "4th Quadrant" of the Grand Integral Vision's AQAL (all quadrant all lines) integral map. I enjoy the merger of science and spirit, and so I like the idea of a blog for recording important ideas which might unite these perhaps too often disconnected, but central fields of human endeavor. How might the following quote relate to that split, and union?
